Ship Carrying Journalists to Sail from Beirut to Gaza
Head of the Free Palestine Movement Yasser Qoshlok called on “all those who consider themselves ‘free’ to participate in this convoy,” dubbed “Naji al-Ali Fleet to break the siege on the children and the people of Gaza.” Qoshlok said the convoy will carry assistance and educational materials for Palestinian children. He said the ship will also carry journalists to focus on Gaza under siege and cover the humanitarian crisis that exists for Gazans under the Israeli blockade. “This campaign is launched after the Freedom Fleet because the media has become the first authority rather than the fourth,” Qoshlok said.Thaer Ghandour, speaking for Journalists Without Limits, said the ship — carrying 50 journalists and 25 European activists including European MPs, will leave Beirut port late next week. |

Thanking Israel for the Gift of Understanding
I don’t write poems but, in any case, poems are not poems
Ghassan Hage
Long ago, I was made to understand that Palestine was not Palestine;
I was also informed that Palestinians were not Palestinians;
They also explained to me that ethnic cleansing was not ethnic cleansing.
And when naive old me saw freedom fighters
they patiently showed me that they were not freedom fighters,
and that resistance was not resistance.
And when, stupidly, I noticed arrogance, oppression and humiliation
they benevolently enlightened me so I can see that arrogance was not arrogance,
oppression was not oppression, and humiliation was not humiliation.
I saw misery, racism, inhumanity and a concentration camp.
But they told me that they were experts
in misery, racism, inhumanity and concentrations camps
and I have to take their word for it:
this was not misery, racism, inhumanity and a concentrations camp.
Over the years theyve taught me so many things:
invasion was not invasion, occupation was not occupation,
colonialism was not colonialism and apartheid was not apartheid
They opened my simple mind to even more complex truths
that my poor brain could not on its own compute like:
having nuclear weapons was not having nuclear weapons,
not having weapons of mass destruction was having weapons of mass destruction.
And, democracy (in the Gaza strip) was not democracy.
Having second class citizens (in Israel) was democracy.
So youll excuse me if I am not surprised to learn today
that there were more things that I thought were evident that are not:
peace activists are not peace activists, piracy is not piracy,
the massacre of unarmed people is not the massacre of unarmed people.
I have such a limited brain and my ignorance is unlimited.
And theyre so fucking intelligent. Really.
Sometimes when there is a surfeit of information and disinformation and
everybody has something to say, there emerges a gem so clear and brilliant
that says it all. It does not need any explanation.

The American Base In Israel.
American Base In Israel.
Posted: Sunday, July 10, 2005
- written by jerry golden
Many have written asking me about the Barry Chamish Report of the American Base here in Israel. Barry and I went there today and I can tell you that it is there. In fact, it isn’t even being hidden, but how would they hide such a thing anyway. What they are doing is saying it is a storage facility and the US is building it for Israel. But let me tell you that makes absolutely no sense. I don’t know how many buildings are already constructed or what they are for but we can make some good guesses. Look at these for example.

Start by looking from the left side, you will notice that there are 4 rows of buildings, the first row are buildings with only small doors, there are no large doors we can see for trucks so I don’t believe they are warehouses, those doors are for people to walk through. You will noticed the next two rows are the same and then the forth row are buildings for offices or storage they have larger doors.
Now look at another section of buildings being built,

These buildings are warehouses, the reasons I am showing you both is so you can see that this American base being built in Israel is going to be used for both housing and mass storage of military hardware.
Below is another shot at some more buildings, many look like they are for people and others for storage.

I want to show you a shot that Barry showed everyone the other day because I want to point out something else in that picture, not just the US flag but there is a date mentioned as well.

You will notice a sign to the left

It says this base will be completed on August 31st 2005. meaning to me that they are in a really big hurry. And we saw heavy equipment working over a very large area. And by the way we guessed this base will cover at least 25 square miles, I think possibly a lot more. It is also prime real estate about ten minutes from the International airport. And right along side the new interstate highway 6 Israel’s new tow road running from Ashdod to Haifa. As most of you may know Israel just built a new International Airport Terminal. Leaving a very large and very good Airport in tack. They tried to tell the public it would be used for domestic use, which makes no sense at all, for the few flights from Tel-Aviv to Eilat and to Haifa. But it would make a really great military base for really large military planes and it is only a few minutes away from this new base.
We could guess for ever what all these buildings could be used for, but I think it is obvious, some are barracks and others are warehouses, but let’s move on to some other things to see.
Below is a round Helicopter Pad with two underground bunkers near by.

These underground bunkers are complete with blast protection built near by. VIP’s (or top brass) will be able to come in by choppers and quickly be put underground. But they tell us this is just a storage facility.
You will notice what looks like a water tower in the background, well I don’t think so, to begin with there is plenty of water supply as the city of Petah Tikvah is within sight of this base so they have plenty of water, and there is no water lines leading to or from this large tank, Lets take a closer look at it as well.

With the high voltage-wiring going into this unit it is obviously a high power communications and radar system. Please keep in mind none of this is Israeli, it is all being built by the US Government and the labors other than Americans are Arabic.
This next picture when first looked at makes you think it is just a water way but look closer and you will discover it is the entrance to underground tunnels. If we can discover so many of these tunnels in just a few minutes just imagine how many there are in this whole base.

We traveled around the back side of the base and it was a long hot ride on some very rough roads to get these pictures. The back of the base runs right along with the original “Green line” being built by the US Government you wouldn’t expect anything less.

The fence or wall will be build on this foundation.
I took over 40 pictures but have tried to pick out the ones that show you what is happening. Now I will tell you what I think this is all about, for what that is worth.
Somewhere in the near future the US will have to go after Syria, and when they do Iran may react with nukes and Egypt could and most likely will join in the attempt to destroy Israel, again. The US is in a hurry to build this base in order to fill it with their military supplies and to have a base of operations to settle this Islamic problem once and for all.
But it doesn’t end there, the New World Order under the name of the EU and the UN will move into the picture soon after this thing kicks off. So even though this base is being built by the United States it is in fact a New World Order Base being put into place. Of course it is stripping Israel of its sovereignty with the help of Ariel Sharon, who I am sure by now has convinced himself that he is doing the best thing for the Jews of Israel. It’s also interesting that 99% of the population of Israel knows nothing about this base being built, not one story has been reported in any Israeli newspaper. No mention of it on the TV it is just being done very quickly and very quietly. What is so amazing is how quickly they can accomplish such a task these days.
There is one other possibility, and that is to house the tens of thousands of protesters who will fight the Sharon Disengagements, but I don’t think so, such a large base would not be needed, and certainly not all the warehouses.
It should also be noted that there are no US troops on this base at this time, but it is obvious that many soon will be. And for those in the US they haven’t heard any of this from the US Government either.
CIA-Linked Turkish Expatriot Leader Blames Activists For Flotilla Attack

Turkish religious leader Gülen criticizes Gaza flotilla
Fethullah Gülen, the leader of one of Turkey’s most influential Islamic movements, criticized a Turkish-led flotilla for trying to deliver aid without Israel’s consent, The Wall Street Journal reported.
Speaking in a interview with a U.S. news organization, Gülen spoke of watching news coverage of Monday’s deadly confrontation between Israeli commandos and Turkish aid group members as its flotilla approached Israel’s sea blockade of Gaza.
“What I saw was not pretty,” he said. “It was ugly.”
Gülen said organizers’ failure to seek accord with Israel before attempting to deliver aid “is a sign of defying authority, and will not lead to fruitful outcomes.”
His words of restraint came after many in Turkey gave flotilla members a hero’s welcome after two days of detention in Israel. Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, from the ruling Justice and Development Party, or AKP, condemned Israel’s moves as “bullying” and a “historic mistake.”
Gülen said he had only recently heard of İHH, the Istanbul-based Islamic charity active in more than 100 countries that was a lead flotilla organizer.
“It is not easy to say if they are politicized or not,” he said, adding that when a charity organization linked with his movement wanted to help Gazans, he insisted they first obtain Israel’s permission.
He also said assigning blame in the matter is best left to the United Nations.
Leading a visitor on Wednesday past his front corridor – adorned with a map of Turkey, a verse from the Quran and a photograph of a Turkish F-16 jet over the Bosphorus – Gülen portrayed himself as an apolitical teacher.
“I do not consider myself someone who has followers,” he said. “Furthermore, I am not a leader of a faction or someone who would cause some state officials to follow me despite their official duties.”
Israeli troops take over Gaza aid ship Rachel Corrie
Israeli troops say they have taken control of an aid ship trying to break the blockade of the Gaza Strip.
Israel’s military says soldiers boarded the Irish-owned Rachel Corrie from the sea and did not meet any resistance.
It says the ship is now being taken to the Israeli port of Ashdod. There has been no word from those on board.
The incident comes five days after nine people were killed in clashes when troops boarded a Turkish aid ship, prompting international criticism.
Israel says it will question those on board at the port and transfer the aid to the Gaza Strip by land after checking the cargo for banned items.
There are five Irish and six Malaysian pro-Palestinian activists, plus several crew, on the boat.
The Rachel Corrie is named after a US college student who was crushed to death by an Israeli army bulldozer as she protested over house demolitions in Gaza in 2003.
Israel has blockaded Gaza since 2007, when the Islamist Hamas movement seized control of the territory.
‘Full compliance’The 1,200 tonne cargo ship was boarded about 16 nautical miles (30km) off the Israeli coast.
An Israeli military spokeswoman said there “was full compliance from the crew and passengers on board”.
The ship had previously ignored repeated requests to change course, the Israeli military said.
The Rachel Corrie is carrying hundreds of tonnes of aid, including wheelchairs, medical supplies and cement. Construction materials are banned from entering Gaza by Israel, which says they could be used for military purposes by Hamas.
The sea-borne mission has been organised by the Cyprus-based Free Gaza Movement, a coalition of pro-Palestinian groups and human rights organisations.
Israel came under fierce criticism after its troops shot dead nine people during a violent confrontation with those on board the Turkish Mavi Marmara in the early hours of Monday
Israel says its commandos were attacked with weapons, including knives, and opened fire in self-defence. Activists on the ship say troops shot at them without provocation.

The Baloch Hal News
NOSHKI: Several journalists were beaten up, detained and their cameras were snatched n Noshki District by the personnel of the Frontier Corps (FC) on Thursday in order to prevent them from covering a shutter down strike which was being observed by Balochistan National Party.
Journalists in Noshki informed The Baloch Hal that they were stopped by the personnel of the Frontier Corps (FC) in front of Degree College Noshki on National Highway when they were on duty to cover the shutter down strike being observed by the Balochistan National Party.
The journalists were beaten up by the FC officials, held in custody and their cameras were taken away by the government functionaries in order to disrupt their professional duties.
The journalists who were beaten up and detained include Ghulam Rasool (Daily Intekhab), Mohammad Ibrahim Baloch (Daily Mashriq), Bashir Mohammad (ARY One World) and Dawood Mengal (Daily Zamana).
“We were held in custody for around one hour by the forces without giving any genuine reasons for the detention,” Ibrahim Baloch, told The Baloch Hal.

The Noshki Press Club has strongly condemned the arrest, torture and deprivation of journalists of their cameras by the FC while the former were performing their professional responsibilities.
“We want the government to take action against the officers responsible for the manhandling of the journalists by the FC,” demanded the Noshki Press Club
The Struggle To Liberate Pakistan Begins In Balochistan
[Freedom loving people everywhere, and those who choose to serve the will of the living God, should say a prayer for the people of war-battered Balochistan. As if they haven't had it rough enough already, now they have emerged as the main arena of conflict in this sick charade/tragic comedy, known as the "global war on terror." (This has never been a war on terror, because it has always been a war fought using terrorism. All sides have employed state terrorism as their primary weapon.) The reason for the dire situation now unfolding in Balochistan is that the two principle sources of contemporary state terrorism, the United States and Pakistan and their proxy terrorist armies are being brought together in a decisive conflict to determine the fate of Pakistan itself.
Balochistan and Pakistan have only one chance for survival--that is, for all the honest moral citizens of all Pakistan to see this thing clearly and come to a common understanding about the dangers they face. Through this common understanding and the shedding of former delusions about the state, national unity of purpose will arise. That is the one thing that is vital in defeating the divide and conquer tactics that are being deployed against you.
The Baloch people have so far been bound by tribal delusions and violent state reprisals. Your leaders have been working against you, misleading you with visions of "Greater Balochistan," using your history as a weapon, to keep you bound to the past, even while your vision is clearly set upon achieving future freedom from the evil of the state. You have been fighting to free yourselves from the police state, as all freedom-loving Pakistanis should have been doing since the beginning. If only Pakistanis of all faiths, or no faiths, had simply stood together as you all once did in India, to resist the evil of the state (the remnant of the enforcement/control mechanism erected by the British Crown), then none of these strategic mind games would now be possible.
As it is now, all of you, must think of Pakistan, the beautiful life-giving country--NOT seeing the divisions erected between you by Pakistan, the police state. You are all good people, despite everything that you hear which denies this fact. Balochistan, "Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa" and the rest are simply the seven or eight states of Pakistan (like America's 50 states).
Ideas of "greater" Balochistan or Pakhtunkhwa are just manufactured delusions, brought to you by the master plotters of the CIA. This American war will not produce either of these elusive phantoms (which will require the destruction of Pakistan and Iran), unless you hand victory to the very state terrorists who have been the driving force behind your recent sufferings.
Calls for American intervention in any of these manufactured conflicts, that are now raging in Pakistan, are asking the puppet-masters to save you from its bad puppets.
Calls for American intervention are music to Shaitan's ears.]
Foreign hand behind terrorism in the country, alleges Raisani
The Baloch Hal News
QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan Nawab Mohammad Aslam Raisani has hinted at the involvement of foreign hand in the current wave of terrorism prevailing in the country mainly in Balochistan.
Talking to media men during his visit to the residence of slain religious scholar Qarin Matin to condole with the family members here on Friday, he said that country was passing through a crucial juncture as external forces are engaged creating law and order to achieve their malicious designs.
“All-out efforts are being made to crush the anti-peace elements that wanted to spread anarchy in the province he said, adding those involved in target killing, sectarian violence would be dealt with iron hand.
Stressing the need for cooperation of the civil society with the government, Raisani urged all segments of the society to come forward and launch a movement to wipe out the anti social elements from the society.
He noted that directives for the deployment of the Balochistan Constabulary at the educational institutes had been issued and no one would be allowed to hurt the education sector in the province.
New Indian/Iranian Port of Chahbahar Devastated By Cyclone Phet
The Baloch Hal News
CHAH BAHAR, IRAN: High tidal ways and stormy winds had washed away a portion of the Chah Bahar Port in Iranian Balochistan on Friday noon.
According to local residents reached by telephone from Quetta on Friday night, very high tides had lashed the Port and damaged the structure in a big way. Most of the fishing and other vessels anchored in the jetty of Chah Bahar Port had been damaged extensively. No official was available to confirm the reports or explain the extent of damage in cyclone.
Rains continued to pour from morning and it was continuing till late in the night inundating low-lying areas of this port township of Iranian Balochistan.
Chah Bahar is over 100 kilometers from Pakistani coastal township of Jiwani and it was the main hub of cyclone that lashed the Iranian coast on Friday.
Residents confirmed high velocity of winds in the open sea indicating that the cyclone “Phet” is changing the direction and the rains in the townships is occasionally accompanied by the stormy winds.

Self-Defense? Five of Nine Murdered Turkish Activists Shot From Behind or Back of Head
Autopsy shows Gaza activists were hit 30 times: report
(Reuters) – Nine Turkish activists killed in an Israeli raid on a Gaza-bound aid ship were shot a total of 30 times and five died of gunshot wounds to the head, Britain’s Guardian newspaper reported on Friday.
Autopsy results showed the men were hit mostly with 9mm bullets, many fired at close range, the Guardian said, quoting Yalcin Buyuk, vice-chairman of the Turkish council of forensic medicine which carried out the autopsies on Friday.
Israeli commandos stormed a flotilla of aid ships planning to break the Israeli sea blockade of Gaza on Monday. The deaths, which all took place on one ship, the Mavi Marmara, drew widespread condemnation.
Israel said the marines who rappelled onto the Mavi Marmara fired in self-defense after activists attacked them with clubs and knives as well as two pistols snatched from the commandos.
The autopsy results showed that a 60-year-old man, Ibrahim Bilgen, was shot four times in the temple, chest, hip and back, the Guardian said.
A 19-year-old, named as Fulkan Dogan, who also has U.S. citizenship, was shot five times from less than 45 cm (18 inches) away, in the face, the back of the head, twice in the leg and once in the back, it said.
Two other men were shot four times. Five of those killed were shot either in the back of the head or in the back, the Guardian quoted Buyuk as saying.
In addition to those killed, 48 others suffered gunshot wounds and six activists were still missing, he added.
Israel said the multiple gunshot wounds did not mean the shots were fired other than in self defense.
“The only situation when a soldier shot was when it was a clearly a life-threatening situation,” the Guardian quoted a spokesman for the Israeli embassy in London as saying.
“Pulling the trigger quickly can result in a few bullets being in the same body, but does not change the fact they were in a life-threatening situation,” the spokesman said.
The newspaper quoted Haluk Ince, chairman of the council of forensic medicine in Istanbul, as saying that in only one case was there a single bullet wound, to the forehead from a distant shot, while every other body showed multiple wounds.
He said all but one of the bullets retrieved from the bodies came from 9mm rounds. Of the other round, Ince said: “It was the first time we have seen this kind of material used in firearms. It was just a container including many types of pellets usually used in shotguns. It penetrated the head region in the temple and we found it intact in the brain.”
No-one at Turkey‘s forensic laboratory could immediately be reached for comment.
Turkey, Israel’s only Muslim ally, stepped up its rhetoric over the killings on Friday, accusing the Jewish state of betraying its own biblical law.
