Tajik Defense Minister leaves for Russia

According to “AP” a source in the country’s Defense Ministry, during his visit, which runs until July 8, General Khayrulloev to attend the next meeting of the Council of Defence Ministers of CIS member states, which will be held July 5 in Kaliningrad, chaired by Russian Defense Minister Anatoly Serdyukov.
According to sources, the head of the RT Ministry of Defence will hold a series of bilateral meetings with his counterparts from some Commonwealth countries.
As the press service of the CIS Executive Committee, it is expected that the meeting will be attended by delegations from the defense ministries of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Ukraine. The agenda includes more than 20 questions on various aspects of multilateral partnerships defense ministries of the Commonwealth.
As part of improving the practical component of military cooperation, defense ministers of the CIS countries will discuss the procedure for sharing the resource orbital group of the Armed Forces and spacecraft socio-economic purposes in the interest of the armed forces of the CIS member states.
Defence Ministers will adopt the idea of joint command and staff exercises of troops (forces) of the Air Force (Air Force and Air Defense, CBO), “Clear Sky – 2012″, scheduled to take place in four stages from 5 to October 16, 2012 in Kazakhstan, as well as a list of joint activities of the armed forces of states – participants of CIS in 2013.
In addition, the meeting will consider a range of issues related to the creation and improvement of the joint (joint) military systems. They will analyze the implementation of the concept of creating a unified geographic information system for the military forces of states – participants of CIS, to approve the draft model provision of the service (division) of the state recognition of objects, modeling guidance (guidance) on Hydrometeorology (MET) to ensure the armed forces of states – participants of CIS and unified standard forms of appeals to the national military archives.
Also, the defense ministers will discuss a draft agreement on cooperation engineering corps of the armed forces of the Commonwealth in conducting humanitarian demining, coordinate the order and content of training for the exchange of information on radiation, chemical and biological environment.
The meeting is also expected to approve the Plan of the interaction forces (forces) of the operating system of the CIS air defense, to coordinate the allocation and use of appropriations for the creation and development of the CIS air defense operating and maintenance activities of the Coordinating Committee for Defense of the Council of CIS Defense Ministers.
During the meeting the ministers will discuss the interaction with public authorities and organizations in the countries of the Commonwealth in the field of military-patriotic work.
The defense ministers will also discuss the development of sport in the armed forces of states – participants of CIS will decide on the promotion of military personnel and nationals – members of the Commonwealth of Independent States in connection with the 20th anniversary of the Council of CIS Defense Ministers.
