MUZAFFARABAD – Pakistan may face another disaster bigger than 1971 if it keeps on repeating the mistakes of enhancing friendship with the US and India.
The ‘Jihad’, which is the only way to achieve freedom of Jammu and Kashmir, will be reactivated in Indian Held Kashmir, warned United Jihad Council (UJC) on Tuesday.
“The mistake of taking America and India as friends can push Pakistan towards another disaster bigger than 1971”, says a resolution adopted at the ‘Dafa-e-Pakistan Conference’ which was organised by the Freedom Fighters Organisation on the occasion of Pakistan Day in Kotli.
The conference maintained that the freedom of Kashmir is a reply to the Indian water aggression and a way forward towards completion of Pakistan and for which Islamabad would have to be firmed and committed to its principle stance on Kashmir issue.
It demanded of Pakistan to differentiate between friends and foes and adopt a sold strategy for liberation of Kashmir.
“The conference expects that Pakistan will expose India’s real face before the world community instead of begging for dialogues, which has not produced any results since 1947″, it further said.
The number of other resolutions, which were adopted at the conference demanded stability in the country through streamlined functioning of the Parliament, judiciary and executive besides making the defence impregnable.
The conference demanded of the AJK Government to play its role to make the state a real base-camp for the liberation movement instead of playing a role of a ‘yes man’ before every Federal Government of Pakistan.

Addressing the conference, Chairman UJC Syed Salauddin said, “We do not expect any thing positive from Pakistan-India dialogue in the light of past experiences in which Indian rigidity never let the talks to make a single inch progress on Kashmir dispute.”
He said that the people of Jammu and Kashmir were carrying out their struggle in accordance with the UN charter.
The Chief Commander of Lashkar-e-Taiba Jammu and Kashmir, Moulana Abdul Wahid Kashmiri, in his address, announced, “We are struggling for Jazzia (an Islamic concept to obtain land from occupant forces for rule of Shaiah) while the Government of Pakistan was begging for dialogues.”
He announced that Lashkar-e-Taiba would stand with the masses of Jammu and Kashmir unless the freedom from India was achieved.
Kashmiris saluted the masses of Palestine, Iraq and Afghanistan for waging struggle against the occupant forces’ aggression and termed their struggle as last option after denial of the right to leave freely.
The Chairman UJC chaired the conference and heads of some 13 Mujahid organisations including Sheikh Jameel-ur-Rehman Ameer Tehreek-ul-Mujahideen, Bakht Zameen Ameer Al-Badr Maujahieen, Mulana Farooq Kashmiri Chief Harkat-ul-Mujahideen, Masood Sarfraz Chief Hizb-Islami, General Abdullah Chief Jamiat-ul-Mujahideen, Mufti Muhammad Asghar leader of Jaish-e-Muhammad, Muhammad Usman leader of Muslim Janbaz Force, Chaudhry Kamran leader of Al-Jihad, Ghulam Muhammad Safi leader APHC (G) and Rana Mukhtar Ahmed participated in the conference.
