Hungarian PM Challenges Brussels Over Migrant Terror, While ISIS Boasts of “New Cells”

Hungarian PM Warns Of Migrant Terror As Islamic State Promise To Send Jihadists To Europe

Hungary’s Prime Minister has warned of a “deterioration of public safety, terrorism and the extent of illegal migration”, predicting a new wave of migration from the Middle East.

Viktor Orbán’s stark warning comes as the Islamic State (IS) terror group are defeated along the Turkish border in northern Syria, and on the same day as one of their supporters claimed militants have already arrived in Europe and are ready to attack.

The right wing leader, who slammed German Chancellor Angela Merkel’s “invitation” in September last year, was speaking to reporters at a press conference in Serbia.

“When you accept people’s trust and become Prime Minister, you have to take an oath, and a prime element of this oath is that I must defend my country against every form of unlawfulness,” he said. Continuing:

“And illegal border crossing is a form of unlawfulness. And since it is obvious that there is a correlation between the deterioration of public safety, terrorism and the extent of illegal migration, it is therefore my duty to do everything I can to ensure the safety of Hungarians.”

On the same day, an Islamic State supporter boasted over an encrypted app and warned of more Islamist terror attacks similar to those seen in France and Belgium in the past year.

According to the Daily Express, the 28-year-old said: “There are many cells being set up. That Islam will bring fear upon their land and each home. And many more attacks are carded. And on the way in many forms and fashions.”

The nationalistic leader also explained how he is planning to face down pressure from the European Union to accept more mass migration and defend the “religion [and] culture” of Hungary.

“We will be having a referendum in Hungary on the 2nd of October. The referendum is necessary since I expect there will be increasingly serious debate between Hungary and Brussels in the coming months on the issue of migration.

“The more support we get at the referendum, the more chance we will have to successfully fight the debate against Brussels, which is our essential interest if we want to preserve our security.

“We uphold the right to remain unchanged… we do not want to change the character and nature of our country. We want Hungary to remain Hungary – regarding its religion, culture, and ethnic composition as well.

“That view isn’t popular in Europe nowadays, at least among politicians. But we have the right to do this,” he said.

The Taliban threatened to attack “judicial installations” if the Afghan government follows through on executing Anas Haqqani, the brother of the group’s deputy emir who is also the operational leader of the Haqqani Network. Anas was detained in 2014 along with Qari Abdul Rasheed Omari, the Haqqani Network’s military commander for southeastern Afghanistan, after visiting the five Taliban leaders in Qatar who were exchanged for Bowe Bergdahl, the US soldier who deserted his unit in 2009 and was captured by the Taliban.

“Last time after the execution of the political prisoners many judicial installations were attacked giving severe blow to the government,” the Taliban said in a statement released on its official website, Voice of Jihad, on Sept. 2.

“If the higher courts also uphold the death sentence to Anas Haqqani, it will have very disastrous and dangerous consequences for the current regime,” it continued. “The war and its intensity will increase in all parts of the country. A lot of blood will be spilled and the government will be responsible for all of it.”

An Afghan court purportedly sentenced Anas to death in late August, Zee News reported at the end of the month.

Anas is the son of Jalaluddin Haqqani, the founder of the Haqqani Network who serves as a member of the Quetta Shura, the Taliban’s executive council. Anas’ brother, Sirajuddin, is the operational commander of the al Qaeda-linked Haqqani Network who was named as one of the two deputies to Mullah Haibatullah Akhundzada, the emir of the Taliban, in May 2016. Sirajuddin wields significant influence within the Afghan and Pakistani Taliban, and is also linked to Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence Directorate.

The Taliban dispute the method of the detention of Anas and Rashid, a.k.a. Qari Abdul Rashid Omari, the younger brother of Mohammad Nabi Omari. Omari is a senior Taliban official who was held at Guantanamo beginning in late 2002. The Taliban have also said that the two were detained illegally.

( – Anas Haqqani is the youngest son of the respected Al-Haj Mawlawi Jalaluddin Haqqani and is a Talib-ul-ilm (student) in his last year of studies who does not have an affiliation with any current political movements. Utilizing the holidays from his studies following Eid-ul-Adha, he embarked on his first foreign visit to meet the freed Guantanamo detainees after an invitation by the family of Mawlawi Muhammad Nabi Umari (former Guantanamo detainee).

Qari Abdul Rasheed Umari, the son of Muhammad Umar and the younger brother of Mawlawi Muhammad Nabi Umari was also on a visit to meet his freed brother.

While returning home on 12th October after spending about a week both were captured by the American forces in Bahrain from where they were sent back to Qatar and then handed over to Kabul via United Arab Emirates.

It must be mentioned that the above mentioned journey took place under the watchful eyes of America before both men were handed over to Kabul despite the freed Guantanamo detainees being assured that their relatives may visit them unharmed.

The claims of the Kabul regime that both men are military commanders of the Islamic Emirate and have been detained in a complex operation inside the country are an absolute fabrication far away from any reality.

The Islamic Emirate considers this action unethical and against all established laws. The said persons are not even on any lists who might be wanted by America and neither did they hold any positions in the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan. The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan calls on all concerned parties to take urgent action and free the victims as quickly as possible.

We cannot understand under which law America took this action! while America always emphasizes on being bound to international laws and humanitarian values but carries out such contrary actions that become a cause for the prolongation of war.

How can one trust overtures of peace by the administrations of Kabul and America when they act in such an unprincipled and unlawful way with the ordinary Afghan citizens! From this we can take away that the American and Kabul administrations are not bound by any international law when it suits their political objectives and neither are they truthful in their calls of peace and reconciliation! Such actions will also have a very bad effect on any future relations between America and the Islamic Emirate.
