Did the Divided Afghan Govt Just Blow-Up In Kandahar?–Or Is It Open War w/Pakistan’s ISI?

–Or, is that what Raziq (and factions of the Afghan Govt) want us to believe?

[It is astounding that the man escaped, apparently unscathed, the same Kandahar blast which killed five UAE diplomats, among 11 dead (High-Ranking Officials, Diplomats Victims Of Kandahar Attack).  This is an obvious response to his plan to create a Taliban “safe area,” taunting the ISI and their Haqqani minions…the same people he now publicly blames for the attack.  Either Raziq WAS the target and Pakistan missed, or Raziq was the author of the attack upon the UAE Emiratis and personal adversaries in the Kandahar political establishment.  It would be very interesting to find-out anything about UAE activity in Kandahar and Raziq’s relation to it.]

Kandahar’s police chief General Abdul Raziq on Wednesday accused Haqqani Network and ISI of plotting Tuesday’s deadly suicide attack that killed 11 people, including five UAE diplomats.

Speaking at a press conference on Wednesday afternoon in Kandahar, Raziq said that an intelligence report received two months ago showed that Haqqani network wanted to target the military leadership of province.

“We had our preparations in place but despite this the insurgents were able to place the explosives inside the sofas in the governor’s guest house,” Raziq said.

He added that “the guesthouse was being renovated at the time and because of this a number of workers have been arrested on suspicion of having links to the incident.”

“Eleven people have been killed in the incident and 13 others were injured,” he said. However other officials confirmed 16 people had been wounded.
